## About
Deutschlands größte Tageszeitung der Welt

Der Postillon is a German-language satire site presenting invented news stories in the format of a real newspaper, with sections covering politics (Politik), business (Wirtschaft), sport (Sport), people (Leute), media (Medien), science (Wissenschaft), everyday topics (Panorama), advice (Ratgeber), and environment (Umwelt), plus a running newsticker.

Articles are written in the style of wire-service reports, attributed to fictional correspondents datelined in cities such as Berlin, München, and Schwerin, and satirize German politicians and current events, including recurring headlines about figures such as Friedrich Merz. The site also runs a shop (Shopillon) and traces its own fictional history under the heading "1845-heute."
