## About
French readers who pay for reporting and investigations from an ad-free newsroom funded by subscribers alone.

Mediapart is a French digital, participatory and independent news site, funded solely through reader subscriptions rather than advertising or public subsidy. It publishes investigative journalism, news, video and podcasts across sections including International, Écologie, Économie et social, France, Politique and Culture et idées, alongside a discussion forum called Le Club where members can write blogs and take part in debate. Editions in English and Spanish are also available, along with newsletters, a mobile application for phones and tablets, and multiple platforms for following and listening to Mediapart beyond the main site.
