## About
Voices of the Mountain Communities

Pamir Times bills itself as the voices of the mountain communities. It describes its venture as a community news and views portal for Gilgit-Baltistan, Kohistan, Chitral and the surrounding mountain areas, run on a voluntary, not-for-profit, non-partisan and independent basis and started by young people. The site offers sections for Opinions, Education, Development and Politics, with Urdu and Wakhi versions.

Coverage includes development projects by the Aga Khan Foundation and the European Union in Hunza, a telecom survey in Gilgit-Baltistan, journalist safety, border trade at Tashkurgan, local history, and a regional survey on development gaps. The site also publishes sponsorship and partnership news, for example a bank's title sponsorship of a winter sports event.

No advertising formats or rates are published. The site's ads.txt file lists 1 ad system line, a direct entry.
