The Santiago Times is an independent English-language news publication about Chile. It began in 1990 as The Chilean Information Project (CHIP) and covers Chilean and Latin American affairs, with categories such as politics, economy and trade, crime, human rights and law, immigration, mining, wine, sports and special reports. Its subscribers are described as including embassies in Chile, business professionals and readers throughout the English-speaking world.

Subscribers receive a daily e-newsletter with links and photos for each article, a daily PDF version for reading and printing, breaking news bulletins and access to article and photo archives dating back to 1995.
