## About
News agency covering information about the Western Sahara region and human rights.

The Sahara Press Service, known by the Arabic abbreviation Waas, is a Western Sahara news agency. Its website is offered in Arabic, Spanish, English, French and Russian, and its menu has sections for news, solidarity, occupied territories, press, an about page and an archive.

The homepage carries a running list of dated stories about the Western Sahara question, statements by representatives of the Polisario Front at the United Nations and in Spain, positions taken by Algeria, hunger strikes by Sahrawi prisoners, and cultural and solidarity events in places such as the Canary Islands, Mexico and France. The English edition also lists related blog posts on human rights.
