The Stanford Daily is Stanford University's independent, student-run newspaper, founded in 1892 as The Daily Palo Alto and organized as a non-profit since 1973. It covers campus news, academics, campus life, science and technology, and university sport across dozens of teams, alongside opinion columns, arts and culture coverage and special print editions including an annual magazine. The paper serves a community of 7,000 undergraduates, 9,000 graduate students, 12,000 faculty and staff and 221,000 alumni.

Advertising runs across print, including the weekly paper and magazine, plus web, social and email placements; web ads are placed through the third party Mediavine.
