## About
Leading the way.

The Bhutanese publishes news about Bhutan in English. Its headline sections are The Nation, Democracy in Action, Business, About Town, Local News, News, Editorial, Opinion and Letter, and the site links to a Subscribe page. Recent stories include royal ceremonies, court rulings, government fuel spending, air quality in Thimphu and a dispute involving a truck driver.

Advertising appears on the site in two forms. A category called ADs collects advertisement posts, with entries dated from December 2024 into July 2026, and a sidebar advertisement promotes Bhutan Tour Packages with a link to a travel agency site. The site's ads.txt file lists one ad system, declared as direct.
