Amap (高德地图)

Amap, known in Chinese as Gaode Map, is a mapping and navigation service used in China. It provides turn-by-turn directions for driving, walking, cycling and public transit, alongside live traffic information and local business search. Users look up addresses, plan routes and check estimated travel times through its web and mobile products, and businesses appear in local search results with their location and contact details.

The service functions as a general reference point for navigation and place search across Chinese cities, similar in role to mapping services used in other markets.
