College Board is a US non-profit running the SAT Suite, AP Program and BigFuture college search, connecting students to college and career planning resources, with more than 6,000 member institutions.
College Board describes itself as a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization connecting students to college success through the AP Program, SAT Suite, BigFuture and other tools. Its offerings include the SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10 and PSAT 8/9, along with student score reports, AP Central and Pre-AP resources for schools, and BigFuture's school and college search, scholarship search and career quiz.
More than 6,000 member institutions and organizations are stated to drive the College Board's mission, and the site also runs the ACCUPLACER placement test, the CLEP credit-by-exam program, and financial aid tools including the CSS Profile and PowerFAIDS. Its Newsroom publishes press releases, its Research section describes ongoing innovation, and the site states plainly that it never makes unsolicited calls asking for personal data.
