Spiceworks connects IT professionals through a community and content site that has operated since 2006. It combines editorial articles on topics such as AI, networking and security with a forum-based community where IT professionals ask questions, evaluate vendors and share expertise. The site also offers free IT tools covering areas such as help desk, remote support, asset tracking, contracts and connectivity monitoring, alongside newsletters, research and a directory of vendors.

Its ads.txt lists 68 ad systems, 45 declared as direct sellers and 46 as resellers, and its sales houses include Spot.IM (OpenWeb), Ziff Davis and M.D. PRIMIS TECHNOLOGIES LTD.
