BR.de is the site of Bayerischer Rundfunk, the public broadcaster for Bavaria, offering television and radio programming alongside regional news for Bavaria's Schwaben, Oberbayern, Niederbayern, Oberpfalz, Oberfranken, Unterfranken and Mittelfranken regions. It carries the BR24 news service, an on-demand video library through the ARD Mediathek, a TV programme guide, and radio stations including Bayern 1, Bayern 2, Bayern 3, BR-Klassik, BR24, BR Heimat, BR Schlager and N-JOY.

The site also carries weather and traffic information for Bavaria, an ARD Text teletext service, and a children's charity campaign called BayernsKinder that lets families submit wishes through 18 October.
