Xinhuanet is the news portal of China's Xinhua News Agency, publishing politics, international affairs, economy, sports, technology, culture, education and military news, with regional channels covering all 31 of China's provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions and editions in English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Russian, Japanese, Korean, German and Portuguese. The agency describes a reporting network in more than 100 countries and regions, publishing around the clock in six languages to an audience it says reaches more than 200 countries and regions.

Advertising formats include 品牌宣传套餐 (brand promotion packages), 客户端广告 (advertising within the Xinhua app) and 活动宣传套餐 (event promotion packages), across the site's app and web channels.
