The Wall Street Journal has unwrapped its first ambitious native ad campaign in the U.K., a multimedia campaign for antivirus software Bitdefender that was three months in the works. “This is not a corporate puff piece,” said the Journal’s Aaron Robinson. As impressive as it may be, publishers are increasingly facing questions from ad buyers wanting campaigns that actually impact advertisers’ bottom line, though.
