Privacy

Almost everything in this directory is about companies, not people: who sells advertising and at what price, read from their own public pages. The personal data we hold is small and it is about account holders — your email address, your name and picture if you signed in with Google, which pages you have opened, and what you have paid. We do not sell it, we do not run advertising trackers, and there is no third-party analytics script on these pages.

When you sign up we store your email address and, if you signed in with Google, the name and profile picture Google gives us. That is what Google shares — we never receive your Google password. We use it to sign you in, to attach your credits and saved listings to you, and to email you about your plan. If you subscribe to the newsletter, your address goes to Resend, our email provider, and you can unsubscribe from any message.

We record which locked pages you have opened and when, because that is how a page you paid for stays open to you for good, and how your credit balance is worked out. We also keep ordinary server logs — the pages requested, the time, an IP address — for a few weeks, to find faults and to stop abuse. We do not build a profile of you from this or use it to target advertising, because we sell no advertising.

Stripe takes payments for us. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach our servers — we store only what we need to know that you paid: a customer reference, which plan you are on, the amount and the date. Stripe has its own privacy notice covering what it does with the payment itself.

Three kinds, all of them ours. One keeps you signed in. One remembers the language you chose, so the site does not greet you in English every visit. One keeps small preferences like a filter you left open. There are no advertising cookies here and nothing that follows you to other sites, which is why this site has no cookie banner to dismiss.

Only the companies that run the service: Vercel hosts the site, Neon stores the database, Stripe takes payments, Resend sends email, and Google handles sign-in if you use it. Each gets only what it needs to do its part. Nobody is given your data to use for their own purposes, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Listings describe businesses and what they sell, gathered from pages those businesses publish themselves. Occasionally a contact on an advertise page is a named person at that company — a sales contact published for exactly this purpose. If you are that person and you would rather not be listed, write to hi@adspotfinder.com and we will remove your name; we do not need it to say that the company sells advertising.

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Write to hi@adspotfinder.com and we will do it within a month, usually much sooner. If you are in the UK or the EU you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, though we would rather you told us first so we can fix whatever went wrong.

Your account and its record of opened pages stay while the account exists. When you close it we delete the account and its personal data, keeping only what tax law requires us to keep about payments — invoices, for the years the law names. Server logs are kept for a few weeks. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.

The site and its database run on infrastructure in the United States and the European Union, and the companies above may process data in either. Where data leaves the UK or EU it is covered by the standard contractual clauses those providers publish.

This is a service for people buying advertising, and it is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect anything about children; if you believe a child has made an account, tell us and we will remove it.

When what we do changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top says when. If a change matters to you — a new processor, a new kind of data — we will email account holders rather than expecting you to notice.
