Thrillist is an online media site covering travel, experiences and local neighborhoods, founded in 2004 by Ben Lerer and Adam Rich. It covers national and international travel news and, as of 2023, 18 cities across the United States, with destination guides spanning Athens, Budapest, Cancun, Chicago, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Lisbon, London, Los Angeles, Montego Bay, Munich, New York, Paris and Tokyo, alongside road trip and event guides, trends and tips, and partner-presented travel content. Destination content is produced in partnership with named sponsors, including partner-presented travel features about Japan produced in association with Forza Horizon 6, alongside articles on family travel, buy-now-pay-later trip financing and AI-assisted trip planning tools.
