RTP África offers live radio and television, African music, news, information about radio programs, podcasts, RSS feeds, online programs, interviews, debate, opinion pieces, reports, traffic updates, music releases, films, concerts and blogs, with coverage delivered through text articles, videos, audio and photo galleries. Its radio and television schedules cover a range of programs across the day.

Programming includes the Nãção PALOP feature looking back over the last 50 years of music from Portuguese-speaking African countries, and the FESTEJA RTP África festival, whose first edition drew more than 10 thousand people and is set to return in 2027.
