The New York Review of Books is a magazine website covering politics, literature, arts and ideas, with sections spanning US and international politics, human rights and climate change, fiction, poetry, biography and memoir, visual and performing arts, film and television, music, history, economics, science and technology, law, and philosophy and religion. Subscribers get access to the current issue and an archive of over 25,000 articles.

Advertising is sold against print and digital rate cards, including a Display Print Advertising Rate Card, an Independent Press Listing Rate Card, a Galleries and Museums Listing Rate Card, a Classified Advertising Rate Card, a Digital Advertising Rate Card and a Newsletter Insertion Order for a Full Sponsor placement. Its ads.txt file lists 161 ad system lines, made up of 60 direct entries and 147 reseller entries, with sales houses including Adnimation Ltd., Aniview, MGID, My Code Media Inc. and 33Across Inc.
