How we build the directory.

Every fact sits on a page you can open, such as the publisher's advertise page, media kit or rate card, linked and dated. Tell us if a rate or a rule looks wrong and we'll fix it.

Where prices come from

Primary sources

We read publishers' own advertise pages, media kits and rate cards.

Confirmed by exchanges

We show which exchanges sell each publisher's ad spots, direct or resold.

Corrections welcome

Publishers can fix their own listing.

Our method

From a source to a listing.

Every fact goes through the same three steps.

  1. 1

    Find

Each fact starts on a publisher or exchange page.

  2. 2

    Check

Each fact must be on the page it cites.

  3. 3

    Link

The fact goes live with its source and date.

Every fact

The checks every fact passes.

Before anything reaches a listing, it clears the same four checks.

  1. Found

On the publisher's or exchange's own page.

  2. Quoted

The sentence must be on the page it cites.

  3. Dated

Every fact carries the date it was checked.

  4. Corrected

Publishers can fix their own listing.
