These are the terms for using Ad Spot Finder. They cover a lot of ground, but the bottom line is simple: we want you to find great places to advertise, and to know exactly what you're paying for.
What we do
Ad Spot Finder is a directory of places to buy ads: websites, newsletters, podcasts, radio, TV, billboards and the platforms that sell them. Almost everything comes from the publisher's own public pages, like their advertise page, media kit or rate card. We're not an ad agency. We don't broker deals or take a commission. When you're ready to advertise, you book directly with the publisher.
Our listings
Each listing brings together public information about one publisher, with the date we found it. Prices, minimum spends, contacts and ad spots are shown just as the publisher shared them, with a link to the source. The directory is ordered by traffic and by how complete a listing is. Nobody can pay to move up.
Your account
You'll need an account to open pages, save listings and buy credits. Please keep your sign-in to yourself, since anything done through your account counts as done by you. Use a real email address so we can reach you about your plan and any changes. You can close your account anytime and we'll delete it. Our privacy notice explains what that removes.
Credits and plans
One credit opens the locked part of one page, and that page stays open for good. You'll never pay twice for the same listing. Plans give you new credits each billing period, and unused plan credits expire when the next ones arrive. Credits from a pack never expire, and we only use them once your plan credits run out. We may change how many credits a plan includes, but never for a period you've already paid for.
Payments
Stripe handles all payments, so we never see or store your card number. You'll always see the price before you pay, in your checkout currency, plus tax where the law requires it. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your billing page. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Refunds
If something goes wrong, like a page that won't open after you spent a credit or a double charge, email hi@adspotfinder.com and we'll make it right, including a refund. Credits you've already used to open a page can't be refunded, since the page is what you bought. If your local law gives you a right to cancel, that right always comes first.
Using the directory
Browse it, search it and quote it with a link back. That's what it's here for! Please don't scrape the whole catalogue, resell or republish it as your own dataset, share one account between several people, or use the contacts here for bulk unsolicited email. We may limit or block accounts that do.
Your listing
Own a listing? You can claim it, correct it or ask us to remove it. We love corrections! Send us the page on your site that shows the right details and we'll update it. If you ask us to take your listing down, we will, and we won't add it back without asking you first.
About our prices
Every price here is what the publisher shared, on the date shown next to it. Prices change and media kits get old, and a listed price is often where a conversation starts. Use what you find here as a great starting point, and confirm the price with the publisher before you spend. We date everything so you can see how fresh it is, but we can't promise every figure is still current.
Our responsibility
We're responsible for what we charge you and for fixing our own mistakes. We're not responsible for what happens between you and a publisher, like a campaign that underperforms, a publisher who doesn't reply, or a price that turns out higher than listed. Where the law allows it, our liability is limited to what you've paid us in the twelve months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or anything else the law says can't be limited.
Updates to these terms
We'll update this page as the service grows, and the date at the top shows when. If a change affects something you've paid for, like credits, a plan or a price, we'll email you before it takes effect.
