Privacy

Updated September 27, 2026.

Your privacy matters to us. Here's what we collect, why we need it, and how you stay in control of it.

The short version

Our directory is about companies, not people. We only keep a little personal data about account holders: your email address, your name and photo if you sign in with Google, the pages you've opened, and your payments. We never sell it, and we don't use ad trackers or third-party analytics.

Your account

When you sign up, we store your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also get your name and profile photo, but never your password. We use your email to sign you in, keep track of your credits and saved listings, and write to you about your plan. If you join our newsletter, Resend sends it for us, and you can unsubscribe from any email.

Pages you've opened

We keep a record of which pages you've opened and when. That's how your pages stay open for good and how we work out your credit balance. We also keep standard server logs, like the page requested, the time and an IP address, for a few weeks to fix problems and prevent abuse. We never use any of it to build a profile of you or to target ads.

Payments

Stripe handles payments for us, so your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers. We only keep what we need: a customer reference, your plan, the amount and the date. Stripe's own privacy notice covers how they handle the payment.

Cookies

We use four small cookies of our own. Two keep you signed in, one remembers your language, and one remembers a shared link that opened a page for you. We don't use advertising cookies or anything that follows you around the web. That's why you won't see a cookie banner here. Each one is listed in our cookie policy.

Who helps us

A few trusted companies help us run the service. Vercel hosts the site, Neon stores the database, Stripe handles payments, Resend sends email, and Google handles sign-in if you use it. Each one only gets what it needs to do its job. We never sell or rent your data to anyone.

Companies in the directory

Listings describe businesses and what they sell, using pages those businesses publish themselves. Sometimes an advertise page names a sales contact. If that's you and you'd rather not be listed, email hi@adspotfinder.com and we'll remove your name.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it and close your account. Just email hi@adspotfinder.com and we'll take care of it within a month, usually much sooner. If you're in the UK or the EU, you can also contact your data protection authority, but we'd love the chance to fix things first.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and the pages you've opened for as long as your account exists. When you close it, we delete your account and personal data, except the invoices tax law requires us to keep. Server logs are kept for a few weeks. Newsletter subscriptions last until you unsubscribe.

Where it's stored

The site and database run in the US and the EU, and the companies above may process data in either. When data leaves the UK or the EU, it's protected by the standard contractual clauses those providers publish.

Children

Our service is made for people buying ads and isn't meant for anyone under 16. If you think a child has made an account, let us know and we'll remove it.

Updates to this notice

When we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For bigger changes, like a new provider or a new kind of data, we'll email you too.
