A branded activation is a hands-on experience at an event, such as a photo booth, front-row seating or a custom on-site setup. Architizer, Vulture and LEO Weekly all sell activations at their events.
How it's sold
You book it with the event organiser's sponsorship team, who agree the space, the rules and the schedule with you. All three publishers sell it as an event product.
What it costs
Most publishers quote this on request, usually as a flat fee per event plus the cost of building your own set.
What you supply
You supply the activation itself, including the build, the staff and any branded gifts, plus artwork for the organiser's signs.
Best for
It suits brands that want people to try something and remember the moment.
Before you buy
Ask what space and power you get and whether you pay separately for the build and the staff.
