A program sponsorship ties your brand to a TV or radio show. Your name is read out or shown at the start and end of the programme, and sometimes in its promo spots.
How it's sold
Tele-Quebec, DW Advertising, Local News 8 and RMF FM sell it, and most deals go through the broadcaster's sales team. You can also ask for a segment sponsorship or a package across several programmes on one theme.
What it costs
Most publishers quote this on request, and the usual basis is a flat fee per programme, per series or per month.
What you supply
You supply a short sponsor message or a script the presenter reads, plus a logo for TV.
Best for
It suits you if you want your brand linked to a show your audience already trusts.
Before you buy
Check exactly how many mentions you get per episode and whether the broadcaster has category rules for your product.
