Publishers offering "Host Read Ad" spots

A host-read ad is an advertisement the podcast host reads out in their own voice, usually 30 to 60 seconds long. It can sit at the start, middle or end of an episode and often includes a personal comment about your product.

How it's sold
Morning Brew, Audioboom, MapScaping and VTDigger are among the 12 publishers that sell it. You book through the publisher's sales team, and you can ask for custom reads or live endorsements.
What it costs
Most publishers quote this on request, and the usual basis is a CPM, which means a price per 1,000 downloads.
What you supply
You supply talking points, a product brief and a promo link, and the host writes the read.
Best for
It suits you if you want listeners to trust a recommendation from a voice they know.
Before you buy
Ask whether you can approve the script and whether the host uses your product before reading.
